About Us

We are a volunteer-based, non-profit organization working together to restore, preserve and protect Fairview Park. We aim to keep Fairview Park in Costa Mesa, CA a natural resource that is both enjoyed by the community and the wildlife that depends on it as a natural habitat.

Group of Volunteers at Fairview Park

The Fairview Park Alliance consists of volunteers committed to the preservation of Fairview Park for current and future community members and wildlife. The Fairview Park Alliance Board of Directors meets the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm. Currently, all meetings are held on Zoom and open to the public. We invite you to get involved. Please contact us with any questions or join us during our next Zoom meeting.

Measure AA

In 2016, 70.85% of Costa Mesa residents overwhelmingly voted to approve bipartisan Measure AA to protect and preserve Fairview Park.

Fairview Park Master Plan

"The site could be planned as the City's premier park, to include a wide diversity of recreational opportunities encompassing natural passive park land. The Master Plan for this site must address the distinctive character of the location and its adjacencies providing a park with unique citywide significance. The Santa Ana River, Talbert Nature Preserve, and the bordering school properties all should influence the park design and layout. In addition, the park contains important cultural and natural features which should be planned for future protection."
